When you open throttle, you need the highest possible traction so that it avoids drifting and lose pace. A good tyre would stick to the tarmac and launch the bike where you get to feel that amazing torque the bike has to offer. Not just torque and traction but the tyre needs to bear the loads and G-forces that come along. With its speed index being W, (270kmph) and zero degree steel belt construction, the tyre was able to handle acceleration and power quite well. I was confident to play around with the throttle though it was a wet day. I have installed the set of @apollotyresltd Alpha H1 Tyres on my Yamaha R15 V3 and have taken it out for a swing on the Chennai Traffic and it has surprised me with its performance. Be it braking, adopting to bumpy surfaces or gripping on all kinds of surface, the tyres have out done itself.
