And so, as a part of the turn it stage of the Apollo I geared to hit a few corners, this is also something I had never done with the Fz25 but decided to give it a try and see how it feels and believe me you guys, the tyre surprised me again with its supreme capabilities like the grip at good lean angles, how it sticks to the roads and provides amazing cornering support.Overall it did great in the turns! Now it was time to take things off-road as a part of the rub it stage of the Apollo so I geared up for an off-road trail ride and it performed really well over rocks, pebbles, and mud! But with the Rev It stage of the Apollo it was time to take it on the highway to do some good speeds.And I found out that these tyres make the bike super stable at high speeds and there are no jerks or vibrations whatsoever, this made me feel much safer and confident. When you open throttle, you need the highest possible traction so that it avoids drifting and lose pace. A good tyre would stick to the tarmac and launch the bike where you get to feel that amazing torque the bike has to offer. Not just torque and traction but the tyre needs to bear the loads and G-forces that come along. With its speed index being W, (270kmph) and zero degree steel belt construction, the tyre was able to handle acceleration and power quite well. I was confident to play around with the throttle though it was a wet day. I have installed the set of @apollotyresltd Alpha H1 Tyres on my Yamaha R15 V3 and have taken it out for a swing on the Chennai Traffic and it has surprised me with its performance. Be it braking, adopting to bumpy surfaces or gripping on all kinds of surface, the tyres have out done itself. Must say that it feels good and positive, I can’t wait to see it perform while accelerating in the upcoming Rev It challenge.
